After a two-year hiatus, kites will soar over the National Mall during the National Cherry Blossom Festival!

The Cherry Blossom Kite Festival is a long-standing DC tradition for all ages to fly kites among the cherry blossom trees or to take in the colorful view. This iconic outdoor event is fun, free, and open to the public.

Rediscover the joy of kite flying and meet new friends! Exact meet up details will be announced closer to the event.

The Cherry Blossom Festival is set for March 20 through April 17, with a parade on Saturday, April 9.
